Do you find this type of person to be particularly frustrating to be around & deal with?

Yes. I know someone exactly like that. She takes everything super seriously and doesn't know how to take a joke. Everything someone says, she has to go and see the wrong in it. I find it very annoying, but I have learnt to just ignore it.
