Where in USA is regarded as the 'Home' of Motorcycling?

Nighttrain has it right. Sturgis is just a bike rally. It's more just a big commercial right now. It's been around for like 60 years, it's only significance is it's one of the most popular bike rallies in the states. Milwaukee, Wisconsin would be more considered the "home" of motorcycling. Harley Davidson started in Milwaukee over 100 years ago. In a little wooden shack. They're still built here, but they do have factories in a couple other cities now. They had their 100th birthday party in Milwaukee a few years ago and it was a really huge party. People are riding all over Milwaukee every weekend. So Milwaukee would probably be considered a major city in the roots of motorcycling in the states.
